"Mr. 3 Count Radio" Mike

Mike started watching wrestling on Saturday Mornings after the good shows were done, like X-Men and Spiderman, and it was really just something to do other than playing outside.

The first wrestling show that Mike really paid attention to was Summerslam 95’ with the second Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon ladder match. From that show on, Mike was a wrestling fan. He watched every Monday night, and probably cried more than he should have when HBK won the title back at Wrestlemania XII.

He watched both WWF and WCW off and on, mostly cheering the heels with some exceptions. By the time the Montreal Screwjob happened, he rarely watched. That event, plus DX forming, sucked him back in as it would most impressionable 15-year-olds. He would watch the first hour of Nitro and then flip it over to RAW for the rest of the time. Mike stayed loyal to the WWF, with the n.W.o and Chris Jericho being the only two things that made him keep the tv on TNT. This was also the time he attended the most live events, including the Zamboni Stone Cold Raw, and the Radicals coming to the Smackdown for the first night.
Also in high school, Mike delved into the deep annals of wrestling nerdom, by joining both an online wrestling roleplaying federation and doing backyard wrestling with his friends. Known as the Sniper in both incarnations, Mike won several online titles because he was pretty good at it, and only had about 10 backyard matches because it was more trouble than it was worth.

By the time 2000 rolled around, it was back to off-and-on watching, and by 2001 he had stopped watching all together.

Mike tried to start watching again in 2007 after listening to an unnamed wrestling podcast, but then the Chris Benoit tragedy happened and it left a sour taste in his mouth, so he stopped again.

Finally in 2008 when he moved to Florida and started working with Brad, he started watching again, fueled by the Comedy of Santino (I know right?) and the feud between Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels, his two favorite wrestlers of all time.

He had been podcasting as a hobby with Derek since 2006, so it was only natural that they would start up a show to take on the Millions (and millions) of other shows for Wrestling podcasting supremacy.
